We won't do any business this financial year which ends on Tuesday, this is why our two agreed signings are joining on Wednesday. Its all about PSR this financial year and SCR next, in my opinion. Santos leaving and loans won't really tip the balance. | | | |

I already see Galbraith as a ex player. He wants out Selling players is not a problem if recruitment is good he can be easily replaced by a better younger player on lower wages and a longer contract.
Take the money and reinvest. Swansea now gave the scouting resources but need cash to trade. If Swansea can clear £5m it's good business. |  |

This Statement is based on the the new super duper recruitment model. Swansea have lost a lot of irreplaceable players over recent times and layers have been replaced at relatively low cost. The transfer fee and saved wages will give Swansea scope.
Swnsea have signed some great players in recent years. Piroe, Vipotnik, Franco, Vigoreaux . Galbraith was so crucial he was moved out of his best position just as Grimes was under Potter.
I recall a buy out clause. a few years back. Was it Neil Taylor ? or Angle Rangel to Derby. It turned out that it was an obligation to inform a player of a bid. The "low" buy out clause could say anything like a "apply to interest from a Premier league team" or "a team in a major European leagues".
It could even be Swansea notifying other clubs a that for a certain fee the player is available as the cub as lined up a better option. It could be family issue an he wants to go back to London. | |

If we do sell him for say 8 million I dare say 2-4 million would buy a very decent replacement (especially outside of the UK transfer market). A real physical ball playing CDM with some bite is what we need. He’s a very good player but if he wants to leave because he values himself higher let him go. The grass isn’t always greener. | | | |

We won't get £8M in cash it will be staged payments. Plus we will have to pay Orient the outstanding balance on the £1,5M purchase fee as he is no longer our player (I believe this is the rule). Plus we will have to give Orient the sell on payment about £1.3M. Finances are not simple. [Post edited 29 Jun 12:19]
