Think they might reach the holy grail of the knockout stages.

Will never happen for the most obvious reason but they would do worse than Gareth Southgate the nation builder.

Clarke always came across as dour and negative - BUT he did find a way to get Scotland to qualify for major tournaments. Which his predecessors hadn't.

I wonder if they'll start with Moyes, play the 'Scotland needs a Scotsman' card, and see what he says.
Think he's happy at Everton, so the SFA will end up working their way down to some poor sod desperate for a job/mad enough to think they'llcrack it. Because if the England job is a poisoned chalice, the Scotland job ain't too far behind! |  |
