I've not seen anything from Stewart to the club that gave him hundreds of thousand pounds worth of medical treatment and then brought him back in to play.

Yes, remarkable he remained injury free during our run in at the end of last season.
He might have issues with injuries but something tells me he plays it to his advantage.

I would imagine Saints medical team had a greater knowledge of what his body was capable of and managed his minutes on the pitch very carefully
Rupturing your achilles is a really horrible injury, I did mine a few years ago. After surgery and loads of rehab I was warned by my physio to expect many niggles and quite possibly need to have a replacement hip way before I should as your body unconsciously avoids putting too much stress on the injury and over compensates elsewhere [Post edited 4 Sep 11:42]
