More inclined to think of it as a repeated clash in terms of playing styles, the supposed :Swansea way" against Parkinson's teams playing styles, over the years our team have come up against his teams we have won some and lost some but as a team we progress higher and out of reach of his teams, money has given his teams a bit more quality but hopefully ours will surpass his, last season there were a number of occasions where managers with old heads out did Matos givem the quality in our team hopefully that won't be the case tomorrow night.

As for being a Derby match only in the sense of being a game against another Welsh team there seems to have always been and still is a North South divide in Wales each region having more in common with nearby neighbours, sure the historians can set me straight on that account on shared history and collaboration even migration ànd immigration from different parts of the United Kingdom and Ireland and over how for many years from the commonwealth, parts of Europe and the wider world

I think it’s in no way a derby or a real deep seated rivalry. I suppose we have to see it by way of a big compliment they are paying us - just look how Macilhenney and Reynolds were allowed to take over the commentary by sky in the away game last year. It showed a huge neediness to be recognised as our new rival but nobody down here was buying it and worse still neutral fans thought (correctly) it was completely out of order for them to be given the comms anyway (let alone some dodgy refereeing decisions that were given in their favour).
As for tomorrow they will be on a high after beating Millwall so convincingly and we will need a repeat performance of Tuesdays to make it 4 wins out of 5. I’m sure Matos will be focussing on that last meeting at the racecourse and the injustices surrounding it and will get the boys fired up for it (in a good way obviously). Two long trips in 4 days won’t help them but hopefully our extra days rest will stand us in good stead.

Wrexham are just a tinpot club who have fallen on good times.
I remember going to the Racecourse late 80's early 90's when the away support was as many as the home crowd.
They maybe one of the oldest football clubs (which seems important to them) but to me it just means they have been irrelevant for longer.
