They and Pres Trump don't want immigrants to enter (happy to lift the drawbridge up) the US ILLEGALLY. There's no racism in keeping ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS from entering the US ILLEGALLY.
We want to keep the US SAFE from bad immigrants who might commit crimes against LEGAL CITIZENS and LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. LEGAL IMMIGRATION is also good for the US economy, in that LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, more often than not, don't need government assistance, contribute to the economy by being gainfully employed and paying taxes, have learned to speak English, and are more apt to obey OUR EXISTING US LAWS and not continue with their laws and customs. LEGAL IMMIGRANTS are more apt to assimilate into the US population. LEGAL IMMIGRATION has nothing to do with RACISM.
