Back when I was a kid, I played for the village team (Fernhurst, West Sussex) and our kit was green and black vertical stripes. You don't see many teams playing in those colours but Plymouth had a kit like that at the time and Coventry had a very nice away green & black striped away kit in the 90s.
Our kids team looked way cooler than our local rivals in their unimaginative 1 colour shirts, so take that Camelsdale and Liphook!!
