Southampton have scored 30 goals this season, more than anyone below them (which includes Newcastle). We've only scored 18. Their defence is why they are lower half but with goals in the tank they'll be fine and I can't see them in the mix unless a couple of results go against them and the fans start revolting. |  |

got a big man up front who bullies defenders wins headers and holds ball up and good pace out wide putting in plenty of crosses
we cant play the long ball up front in the air nor put i the crosses from out wide in the air as we have no height/strength up front so we have to labour around trying to find a killer pass to feet and by then other team has everyone behind the ball so it just gets harder hence we havent scored 2 goals in a game for 9 games now |  |

I just can't see us getting near them unless we sign some real good players.
I haven't seen us play as well as they did in that 1st half all season yet they've just had their manager unjustly sacked.
They've got real quality and look better than the position they're in but fcuk it we're gonna steam roll past them all the same after we spend another 40 million. |  | | |
