News of a departure from Loftus Road coming up tonight ...#QPR

it's slightly annoying the method of pre-announcing the departure to drum up attention, but at least people are leaving!

EDIT - Granero gone on loan...

Granero gone on loan to Sociedad on 21:29 - Aug 15 by Northernr

Miguel, Spanish journo who writes for LFW whenever we're about to be torn apart by a Spanish player we've never heard of, says that Granero is on 2.7m Euros a year at QPR and was asked to drop that to come in line with Sociedad's top earners so he could move permanently. He refused so he's gone on loan with QPR making up the difference.

Quite an expensive lesson for Chairman Tony this is turning out to be.

No wonder he's called "The Pirate".

Highly doubt he need a work visa for his own country.

Hasta la vista, El Pirato. Shame your buckling didn't have much swash to it.

Absolutely gutted this didnt work out. I thought he would be class. I am pleased to see him gone, but I never thought that would be the case when he came.. 'El Pirata', I really wanted to love him....

Hopefully we got a loan fee to help offset the % of his wages we are paying. Even with the financial costs it is still the best solution for all at this stage.

See you later, you massive waste of space.

The likes of Bosingwa were villified but you were no better.

At least he's won plenty in his career and is close to retirement age, there's not a single excuse for your lack of effort every time you played for us. Moving to the Premiership at the peak of your career and you couldn't give a flying f***.

Biggest fanny hole ever to pull on a QPR shirt.

Hope he's proud of himself.
