To be fair though he's pretty good at what he does and I would imagine at our level he'll be very positive as an attacking threat.
Our defence seems to be solid this season and the only thing holding us back it would seem is the creativity up top so to add him to help in that area seems to be a pretty good idea. He seems like a bit of a work horse too which is another positive.

Who? 68 caps for the septics, never heard of him. Not that me having heard of a player qualifies him as any good but I thought we had the dude from Hearts training and possibly signing with us?
I assume he will be 4th choice once Chief is back and cover generally, which is good and also needed with Statler and Waldorf currently playing every week, but you can never tell how good a defender is going to be, especially in a new league. I take comfort in the fact he has been training with us and we have made a more informed decision. Hopefully that is the basis of the signing rather than just filling some kind of Harry Redknapp transfer quota.
