Do u think we should rest players? Give fringe players a chance or go for our strongest team? I think we should go for it but can see the like of Traore swp and Hitchcock playing which isn't a bad thing

Poll: Of the 3 linked away, who do you think will still be a QPR player come February?

No way that Austin will play, nor should he.

I could see Hitchcock getting a start though. He's fit and match fit, unlike most of the alternatives.

Barton, Austin and Phillips on the bench, Hitchcock to start for the experience. Other than that we may as well go for it.

Think Barton will play as boyhood Evertonian.

Would rest Dunne and maybe Simpson.
Play Onouha and the Yank we still have at centre halves.
Play Henry with Barton.
SWP can start with Traore as the wide men.
Kranjar playing just off Johnson.

Green
Young Onouha Ogy Ekotto
Barton Henry
SWP krancjar Traore
Johnson

Murphy Hill O'Neil Philips Austin Hitchcock Bennyoon.

Well I wouldn't pick Austin, but other than that who exactly is so precious to our league chances that we can't afford to lose them?

Fair point Clive, offy mentions Simpson and Dunne and I would add Barton to that list.

Given that JH is out every other week I'm going to add Philips and as Caesar has no inclination to play for us ever again, I'd put Murphy in goal as well!

So with Austin I make that 6 I would leave out.

I'd go for something like this:

Green
Simpson Onuoha Dunne BAE
Phillips Barton Henry Kranjcar
Johnson Hitchcock

I say rest the "spine," so Green, Hill, Dunne, Barton and Austin. They are absolutely key to our promotion push and need to be rested and looked after carefully.

I'd play our forgotten players and see if they are up for it. If not we lose nothing, league is our priority with seemingly one striker. (still have hopes for AJ.)
