Wedding and covid restrictions 18:53 - Oct 12 with 1012 viewsloftboy

I’m currently planning my wedding which is going to be in February, got a lovely venue sorted which can normally seat 150, we are allowed 15, of a problem as we knew this when we booked, however on the same day we booked we visited an Indian restaurant, tiny location but had 6 tables in it which were separated by screens, I was still closer to the geezer on the next table than I was my Mrs, all the tables were full.
So my gripe is is can a huge hall that has room for 150 be more of a risk than a tiny packed restaurant?

Sorry mate, but you should postpone it until you come to your senses and realise you’re too young to get married. The ideal age to get married is about 80-85,and then only if she’s pregnant.
Good luck mate.

How about asking if you can have it in the Indian?

I did jokingly say that to the Mrs on Saturday.

I think the difference is that at the Indian although you were close you would have stayed in your groups. However, at the wedding you'd have all been mixing

I had mine booked for July this year, I then cancelled and rebooked for July next year and last week I moved that to July 2022.

It's been a nightmare and very stressful to the point where we was just going to go Vegas and get it done.

Not sure what original numbers you had but 15 is so little, I have 100 in day 200 for evening but I won't be moving again.
