Was listening to this on the way into work, really great interview with Furs, who is a great talker. So good, in fact, I'm surprised he doesn't do more of it.
Would love Clive to do one of his Patreon chats with him and have some more details about his career and maybe a bit more about watching Darnell go through the ranks.
Bare bones.

Have requested in the past and he hasn't been keen but certainly on the list. Same with Andy Impey.
Yeah I've always had the impression he's media shy because you never hear from him, which is fair enough, but he comes across so well in that interview.
Also interesting that he says he wants to coach at first team level. Wonder if Eusty does eventually get tempted away whether he might get a promotion?
Bare bones.

Furs comes across very well in this, only reminds you how much fan criticism and abuse can affect players and how aware they are of it, especially at QPR. We are lucky he persevered and turned it around, others would not have come back from that.
I'll never tire of hearing from the team that played in that QPR Oldham game, especially with Furs talking through his winning goal. Would love to hear from Chris Day as well, talking through his wonder save in detail.

Looks like he could still pull on the shirt and not look out of place - how the hell is he 53!!!! Great interview, really impressed, should definitely do more.

Thanks for posting, good listen and as others have said he comes across very well. First time I’ve heard him mention the Tommy Williams pass that never was. From what he said, he was just as annoyed as the rest of us about his greediness. Still gets to me even now.

A really enjoyable and informative listen. He comes across as a very intelligent and eloquent man and a top bloke. Great confidence and belief in his ability and really good of him to acknowledge Ian Holloway’s persistence and faith too for continuing to play him. So glad they kept at it! A mate of mine is a Birmingham City fan and they love him there too. Glad he’s with us mind and doing a top job with the coaching.
