Well, that lad Quina they have on loan from Watford looks like a player.
Very poor from us. No pace, poor passing, standing off and not closing down. A very odd and fatigued performance.
Still can't quite see from the angles if the whip of the ball took it beyond Dykes by a fraction of a second at the end or if he just mistimed it. Either way, as Warbs said, unacceptable performance.
Hopefully they get a proper kick up the ars* and move on to be a lot better at Millwall. |  |

How does Dykes miss that chance at the end? Looked like an absolute sitter. And that kid from Watford does look decent. Can't quite make my mind up if Marshall could have done better with the goal. I've not seen the highlights but I thought it might have taken a slight deflection or went close to one of our players which might have put Marshall off. It certainly wasn't a mistake anyway would have been a great save.
I didn't feel we deserved anything from this match so quite glad we lost in some ways. |  |

We were safety first all game passing across the back line no real urgency in our play. It was partly due to a complete lack of movement from the front 2 and partly the 2 in midfield sitting so deep they rarely got out of their own half. We had slightly more like in us up front when Austin came on but the final ball was dreadful all game.
When we did put some passes together in the final third we cut them apart but it was all too rare. Even after going a goal down we created absolutely nothing until the Dykes chance at the end which he should have buried.
Worst performance of the season by a long way. Barnsley were dreadful and there for the taking but longer the game went on and more long range shots we kept letting them have one of them was bound to go in eventually |  | | |
