One of our favourite refs (argh) Kevin Friend has left to become an advisor somewhere, not sure what he's advising on probably something to do with optometrics.

Kevin Friend was our friend. In the 20 matches he officiated in we won 18 of them and drew 2!!!

I mean that's obviously not right, but I like to think it is!

As I said on another thread, that 3/4 gone from PGMOL 1 and only 1 promoted from PGMOL2.

That's less step downs for us and highlights the shortage of top class refs at the top.

Good luck finding the 24 extra refs they will need every week next season if they bring in VAR.

I always liked Kevin Friend as a ref myself.
