...if I have tourette's or do I actually enjoy the matches. It's very rare to have her in the same room (she has never attended a Rangers fixture), when I'm watching or listening, actually the last time was the Wembley Play Off, but she's disturbed that I consider it normal to lace the air with profanities and start shouting for 'no' reason. "Are all the rest of you like that"?

Mine went off to the neighbours with a bottle of Rose under her arm as “I’ll get nothing out of you tonight except a load of effing and jeffing at people who can’t hear you”

She mistimed her return just as Lyndon slammed in the penalty
It was a different kind of beautiful

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Yes after 40 years of marriage Mrs MinT is now resigned to equating what the weekend is going to be like because of the QPR result
The best "other half" comment was my brothers wife after the Norwich result in 1976
" If a result gets you so upset why don't you just stop going"
She still lives to tell the tale and they are still married

Mrs Watford II really doesn't get this football malarkey at all.

She can't understand why I go on about "we" and "us" when I talk about...well, us. She couldn't understand why I'd want to go tonight after getting up at 4.30 for work this morning, with another early start in an hour or two.

And when I watched the SheffU game the other night with the sound off most of the night, because she was watching The Great British Bake off or Cook off or Sew off or Paint off or whatever, she couldn't understand that I didn't then want to turn on the sound for the last few minutes because listening without sound had worked fine for the previous 87 minutes and kept us 1-0 in front.

Women. Jeez.
