Does anyone know why he wasn't in the squad today?
I think he has huge potential but he doesn't seem to be physically fit enough to get through whole games or be in the squad from time to time. Anyone know why we struggle to get him ready for games? |  |

I don't know, what I do know Is we struggle to get any of our players ready for games.
As for Armstrong he Is most certainly not the answer to all of our prayers, he's a big up and run at them type of player with no end result and has an awful long way to go at the moment.

I hear you Ted. It feels like we will never win another game. I agree he isn't the answer to our problems but he is a handful and we seem to not have him available more often then he is available. He seems to get cramp very easily. The end result thing is an issue.He desperately needs a goal but he also needs a run of games and something is happening fitness wise to prevent that. | |

I assume that he hasn't recovered from the injury he sustained in the warm up at Middlesbrough.
I'm not sure what his huge potential is though. He has pace, he tries & he is powerful. All of which we could have done with today, however he will never be a goalscorer. |  | | |

And I hear you too Bosh, but look It's been well written on here regarding our players and their fitness and or Injury problems/Issues.
I've got nothing against Armstrong and yes when he's running at defenders he can create a bit of havoc, but a bit of havoc Isn't exactly what we need right now, we need firstly to address our criminally poor defensive record and then our criminally poor scoring record.
Our once good GD has been blown apart and Believe It or not that GD could prove to be vital at the end of the season.
