He's now taking another ride In His Silver Macine.

And it flies sideways through time, it's an electric line
To all the zodiac signs.

Me and Mrs Ted were lucky enough to see Hawkwind live Years and Years ago when Lemmy was with them.

RIP Mick

Someone post a vid of 'Silver Machine' please I cant remember how to do it.

Saw them at Bournemouth Academy about 8 years ago. Brilliant live act and they played 3 of my faves one after the other: Master of the Universe, Assault and Battery and Assassins of Allah. 'Black September...'

RIP.

My favourite band back in the day.

Mind you, sort of amazing that any of them are still alive, really, especially Dave Brock.

My mate bought a house off a woman and her son was still living there. He was 19 and somehow, apparently, was the bassist for Hawkwind. He was a nice kid but apparently they were proper shit neighbours according to the people next door.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Saw Hawkwind live at Stonehenge free festival, 1982. Now that was a gig!

God bless, Mick, safe travels.
