Nope. Evidently you can do what you like as an owner until they reach the championship. At which point the big boys don’t what you getting ideas beyond their means and everything is limited.

FFP doesnt exist below the Championship, in league 1 and 2 it’s called the SCMP ( Salary cost management protocol ) basically salary costs have to be a percentage of turnover, in league 1 it’s a maximum of 60% and league 2 it’s 55%, but there is no maximum spend on transfer fees, Turnover is defined as money from TV, commercial income and match day income, I’m not sure of the rules in the national league and I’m guessing Wrexhams income is a bit larger than most in the league given the Hollywood boys are creating quite a buzz.

Actually, I am rooting for them after watching some of the show. Quite like their owners and it’s a fun story line

I have to say I'm rooting for them just a little.

Huge fan of Reynolds, he just comes across as a decent human being and is a cut above the majority of numpties in Hollywood

I’m exactly the same. Forgetting that they are Welsh, I am just really enjoying this story. Both owners seem really decent guys.

Am I the only one bored to death of hearing about Wrexham ? A modest club that went out of the league and bought its way back in . And that’s newsworthy to this extent?

if you're sick to death about Wrexham, then maybe don't read threads about them, they're quite easy to avoid.. you see Wrexham in the title, oh, and, you don't click on it. simples.

I've really enjoyed the story behind it - as people say, Reynolds and McElhenny come across as good guys and it's brought a lot of joy to a tough old place in Wrexham.

My main gripe with it is it's brining some credibility back to that t****er Shaun Harvey in his advisory role at the club and on the series - other half couldn't understand why he annoyed me so much every time he was on screen during the Disney series!

Great story and has shed a bit of light on what should be a fifth division, some decent teams down there with good support.

And Dorking did wonders in staying up, reasonably comfortably in the end.
