Not good news about Poku again. You can feel his frustration that it may be another bad(ish) injury. Will we ever get him fit and playing properly? We know he can play but his inability to stay injury free makes JCS look like The Terminator.
When you think that we have two potentially talented players in Dembele and Poku who so far have been made of glass, with a young striker brought in to cover Burrell who ends up not even being made of glass, you start to see how frustrating it must be.
Stephan is definitely developing the Herbert Lom eye when talking about the amount of injuries we seem to have for so much of the time.

We've done as well as we have despite the fact that the several Oompah Loompahs we employ, have been mainly disappointing.
They've either spent most of their time injured, probably doing community service or, playing poorly after a game or even two, of playing well.
Consistency is key next year as much as the ability to match the intensity our opponents manage with considerable ease compared to us. Oh, and of course, our fitness and rehab needs to match the data the club rely on and think we should believe!

I hope someone tells him that it's important that the team put the game and result first on Saturday. I had hoped that we would show what we are capable of last night but for the first half the tempo and will were below what is required (which Swansea, who are in the same position as us managed to achieve). To make matters worse when the players came out for the second half there was nothing to suggest that they were prepared for any better. And surprise surprise, we re-started just as slowly meaning that we found ourselves second best again. We need a management team to take the bull by the horns and get the team ticking from the off and from the re-start, not when we bring on certain players after an hour. Hopefully we see 11 players that are up for it and buzzing from the off on Saturday and not various players who are hit and miss.
