His mate is bringing 2 of his sons though, one also has an ST and does away games, the other has never shown the slightest interest in football ever. My Mum hasn't been able to go because she was looking after my Dad until he passed away in Jan, my son who works 5 out of 6 Saturdays and my other half who needs a new hip to go with the one she got last year.

This might sound daft but I decided I wouldn't go to the playoffs or the final as for different reasons I haven't been able to get to a single game this season.
I know that there will be people going who haven't been to many games if any this season, I just wanted to make sure that as many regular fans got to the games.

Going with my missus and my old man. Haven't been to a game with my missus since the Promotion season. We've alternated matches as and when we can! Cost and kids! This will also be the first game I've been to with my Dad since Peterboro at home in our 2004 promotion season that finished 1-1 with a late Gallen goal. We were dreadful that Friday night! He lives in Devon and works all sorts of odd shifts, so traveling up this way is easier said than done, plus the cost aspect! He did go to Yeovil away this season with my uncle and cousin tho'.
A few other mates are going too, but in different parts of the ground to us.

Not sad or daft at all.
I fall into the category of "doesn't normally go", as does my son who's coming with me. I had mates who are season ticket holders offer to get me tickets earlier but said I would wait to try if they went on general sale so I did as little as possible to get in the way of regulars. Luckily I got two today.

Bringing two of my nephews along, they usually can't come as they both play for their teams on a Saturday, but their seasons have finished for the summer so they're free. I support both Chelsea and QPR so I often watch quite a lot of games ..... although this is all on the good old box of course while eating my prawn sandwich... In truth for watching games live, I definitely prefer the EPL to the Championship overall and so occasionally buy a ticket in the neutral end at Fulham and clap those clappers they hand out... I feel like a hardcore supporter when I do that..
For this final I managed to get 10 tickets for all of my friends and also Aunt Nelly....

I supported QPR through the 80s' 90 but hardly went to a match - because....ahem...I was averagely good enough to play for my local Saturday team in the Kent Amateur league.
I would assume, that there are quire a few fans the same.../that play football on a Saturday and don't get to many games(although in my days- we only played on saturday and one midweek- whereas now....they are played every flippin day).
It would be nice to get a new stadium....fill it each week...but the same happens at most clubs in this situations. |  | | |
