Went to St Lucia 5 years ago, lovely lovely island.
Styed in a villa by Marigot Bay, plenty of bars resturants to go to and less crowded than Rodney Bay.
You can get boat trips from Rodney and well worth the trip if you have the time.
The Pitons are also a must see, was very lucky and the guy who was like a caretaker for a few of the villas around about has a little boat and for a few dollars took me and my wife on a few trips up the coast to some beautiful beaches that seemed fairly quiet and snorkeling on the reefs was just like being in a giant aquarium.
Not been to the other islands byt have been told by those that have they rate St Lucia among the best of the islands to go to, hope you have a great trip.

Any test cricket abroad is nothing like the English Tests, which are overpriced, and full of hooray henrys who wouldn't know a slider from a yorker.
Overseas you can pay on the gate to get into almost every ground and it's a fraction of the price they ramp up here in Blighty.
Apart from Australia, the locals don't really support Test Cricket as they have taken the Sky shilling and prefer Bash Street cricket which is bollox standard by comparison and over in a couple of hours.
Turn up, pay up, drink up, not stuffy at all, as long as you stay clear of the moneyed mob wearing blood and custard ties.
Find a rum shack and learn to speak patois when pissed.

The Aussies don’t really bother either if my trip to the Ashes 2 years ago is anything to go by. Day 1 at the Mcg was the only day that could be described as full. Avoid the football/cricket expats who only want to sing about german bombers and you should be ok.

Would love to do this. Why have two people down voted it?
I was wondering that.
I started this post in November 2018 when we were planning on going to St Lucia. We didn’t go in the end. We opted for The Maldives as the missus had dreamt of going.
I’ll get to St Lucia one day.
