Millwall like most London clubs probably ‘took the loft that day’
Seem to remember Millwall fans paying to get in and literally just hanging around in full view with some wearing Dr Martens and white butcher coats covered in Millwall Sanskrit. Did the club or Police not care so much then?

i was there, and you are spot on with that summary about their fans.
groups of men and not boys hanging outside the loft turnstiles, and a bigger group waiting to go up the steps to the loft on the concourse inside.
a mob of millwall already in the loft singing qpr songs, which to a qpr fan, did'nt sound right.
but lured a few gullible qpr fans in to sing with them.
when the players came out onto the pitch, the songs changed to millwall, and the poor few qpr in with them were on the receiving end of a slap and a boot. | |
