I think the issue is the lack of consistency, given virtually every other sport continued last weekend.
And as Clive mentions the schedule for the Championship is hectic at the best of times, let alone this season with the World Cup break as well. | |

It's a valid viewpoint & many are in agreement with you. Personally, I don't see any reason why football was called off while other sports, theatres & cinemas were taking place.
It is not a decision that I feel warrants taking umbrage against the FA, but how people wish to honour (or not) the Queen is up to the individual.
Perhaps I need to get a grip, but I'm far from sure what that entails! [Post edited 14 Sep 2022 18:58]
