I don't like short corners 12:32 - Oct 29 with 830 views

I'm the first to moan if I see a short corner normally.
But last night in the tunnel before the game I noted the size of John Ruddy.
I thought that if we used the short corner we could maybe cut out the keeper who just stepped out and caught everything. His defenders moved away to allow him to come and collect easily every corner.
Anything in the air was his.
If we had tried to come in from the side and put balls with pace into the box it then becomes like a bagatelle and the ball could fall to anyone. Look at their first goal.
But every corner was the same.
Just a thought to maybe give keeper and defenders something to think about.

Yeah I'm sure we've come up with the odd baffling routine this season too so was bemused last night that we kept whipping it into their 6 yard box where we were getting absolutely no change from their defence at all.
