As we are all in such festive spirit's....... 08:16 - Nov 28 with 1650 viewskingsburyR

Given the continued noise around Beale and his departure it got me thinking...

Which manager or player affected you the most personally when they left Loftus Road? The one that gave you the proper hump.

For me it was Paul Parker leaving. I felt a sense of bitterness towards football for ages after that one.

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Stan Bowles saga lasted around 7 years.

We only got to know about the goings on in the papers. Little did most of us know the actual goings on with Stan, JG and poor old Ron Phillips.

I can imagine this message board if it got morphed back to the 70's.

captains fantastic
Poll: Jimmy Dunne Will he stay or will he go

Les Ferdinand. I had just finished high school and on my long summer holiday after GCSE's. It felt like the end of the world... and it was for QPR.

I remember getting the news Langley had left for Cardiff via teletext I was 13 and I was absolutely heartbroken.

I thought I would be gutted when Eze left but I was happy for for him that he got a decent move with a decent transfer fee.

Manager: Terry Venables.
I don't know if it had been building but back in them there days there just wasn't the instant 24/7 news that we now have (which is both good & bad). We'd had such a good season prior and was really buzzing for the season ahead. Then I saw the papers. Such a shock. I was gutted.

Player: Les Ferdinand.
This had been brewing for a couple of years so wasn't so much a shock but just utterly disappointed when it inevitably happened. To make matters worse was the money was then wasted on the likes of Mark 'I'm on crutches' Hateley.

Marsh upset me big time as a kid.

Selling Goddard and Allen almost had me throwing in the towel.

Goal machine Clive Allen leaving for Arsenal broke my little 9 year old heart.
Then he came back and scored lots more for us!
Then a few years later he went to Spurs.
