| Green shoots for next season...... 15:54 - Jan 22 with 1396 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | Come on guys heads up! I've not seen it so down on here for a long long time. We've got a decent core group of players, a couple of assets that might get a bit of money in, brand new state of the art training ground, a new highly regarded manager, and a group of U18s who look a lot better than the older age group. The decks are being cleared (bye bye Bonne, Betache and more to follow in the summer no doubt). Beale screwed us over and derailed this season completely, but we are, I think anyway, well placed for a playoff push next season. Come on cheer up! | |

| Green shoots for next season...... on 16:09 - Jan 22 with 1317 views | Logman | I do feel positive about next season. But one of these 'next seasons' we have got to get it right throughout and have the right manager and players in place from mid July until mid May. I know this is easier said than done for a small club which is susceptible to players/managers leaving but not since 2010/11 have we had anything near enough nuts and bolts in place and even that season we were recruiting as we went along, e.g. Wayne Routledge, Tommy Smith, Ishmael Miller | | | |
| Green shoots for next season...... on 16:12 - Jan 22 with 1306 views | PinnerPaul | I feel positive, just because we are certainly no worse off than many in this league and a good deal better than some - both on and off the pitch. However, with modern football, I think looking ahead to next season is a bit of fool's errand given turnover of players and mangers these days. | | | |

That dreadful performance/result at Fleetwood just underlines it.

I'm with you Brian, 4 more points from Sheff Utd and Swansea games and we're back in Play-Off contention and I might be in a minority but saw the early season Willock back yesterday (going forwards anyway, if not with his pressing) A match-fit Willock, and hoping Laird and Dykes are straight back and we can challenge for 6th.
