Dykes played well yesterday, his movement for our goal was very good as took up 2 or 3 positions in that attack so he could receive the ball before he did, then created s space for himself with a very good turn and shot (something he doesn't do enough)
Also thought his touch and hold up play was very good,
Certainly stood up to be counted when the club needed him most. |  | | |

Obviously Field but Dykes in second. I think even his fiercest critics must have seen what a difference it made to us when he couldn't play.
Incidentally yesterday he did two clearances, one blocked shot, two interceptions and two tackles. Not bad for a CF. [Post edited 30 Apr 2023 12:23]

Dieng my POTY. Played every League game I think and has been mostly good or better. Can only remember 1 goal against from a clear error from him all season. Mr Consistent, will be a big loss if we sell him this summer. Field who has also played every League game I believe, a good number 2 for me, and Dykes 3rd. | | | |

Agreed Dieng for me! We need to appreciate he is good. A couple of lighter goals but I think he lost confidence with our defence infront of him |  |
