Where shall we start on this one. Out of the 5 games left on paper this would be a game that we would have a decent chance of getting points from but football is played on grass not paper. The starting 11 you could make a strong case for with 1 change from the WBA game in which we played well and got a surprising point. In my opinion Ainsworth showed more of his tactical naivety as anyone who knows championship football will tell you that Coventry play 3 at the back of which 2 are slow big lumps who strengths are an in air bit on the ground and playing our 2 lumps Dykes and Martin against theirs played into their hands. On general play starting at the front we did not defend. Well from the front in the sense of closing their back down which enabled them to play out of the back down the right side on numerous occasions. The gap from the midfield to the front 2 was massive and in my opinion that was where the game was won and lost. Coventry a well done to Mark Robins as on a limited budget as got himself a very well organised and fitter team than ours. Hamer and Gyokeres where class today. I felt taking Chair off today was a strange call as although he did not have his best game when he got the ball there was not many options available to him as the front 2 where being marked by 3 and the 2 in midfield where to far away. I have stated before the players in the squad dictate the system and with only one out and out winger at the club Albert you can’t play 4 4 2 so I lay that one at Les door on putting together a in balanced squad I would of gone 3 5 2 with Laird and Paal as wing backs and that system compensates Dickies lack of pace. Moving onto subs made far to late as it was easy too see and crying out for change and that change came far to late although i thought Laird looked alright when he came on. I also remarked earlier about the front 2 being a bit slow and predictable Lowe might of been a better options if introduced earlier. So in Summary we are in the Shit. Ainsworth IMHO is tactically naive, 4 4 2 does not work and the 1st thing to work on the training ground is crossing as the balls in the box where very poor. Mistakes kiiled us Paal and Willock Keep the faith and looking for a bounce back against Norwich who will also be looking for one Tokyo after the mauling against Boro. MOM tough one as we where very poor Dickie.

There is a term in tournament poker known as "chip and a chair". It means that as long as you have a single chip and a seat at the table in a tournament, you can still come back and are not dead yet.
QPR are still a point ahead of Cardiff and the Fakes, so anything is still possible.

Agreed
It’s the only realistic hope
A point at Burnley plus last day win v Brizzle?
Still probably a point light.

Impressed by them. Another club hurtling past our shitshow, playing nice football, picking up bargains in the transfer market and in the play-offs. That they've been down the leagues and don't have a ground is an indictment against the idiots running our club. Probably don't have 6,000 coaching staff either.

They’ll have nowhere near the back room staff wage bill we have starting with LF half a mill a year plus. Fkn ridiculous for a club of our size and income.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.
