My initial thoughts were they were black and borrowed and maybe that's why they were late coming out at the start. However, a QPR motif was visible on the front of the sock.

They may have been navy and part of the navy and berry away kit. Don't know why we didn't wear the usual shade of blue socks that we wear when we can't wear white.

Maybe they brought good luck and we should wear them at Stoke as well.
