Warnock equals Modern Day Genius 21:25 - May 5 with 2599 views | numptydumpty | When Monsieur Warnock joined us, I actually wasn't happy. I never like him previously. Every referee was a joke and his aggression on the sidelines was quite intimidating. But obviously he totally changed my views and he certainly isn't the angry man. That's all for part of the games he plays but his ability to get so much out of tbh not much. Truly deserves the adulation as possibly one of the greatest football league managers of all time, having been successful in so many different teams. And often his impact is immediate. Whatever he has, it truly works. Praise be to the Master !!!

It might be nice if he came out and said he was pleased we'd stayed up to now, after not including us in his last remarks about who he want to survive the drop. Happy retirement, you wily old fox (until your next chat with Sharon). [Post edited 5 May 2023 22:11]

Warnock equals Modern Day Genius on 08:27 - May 6 with 2268 views | paulparker | I don’t think as a club we have ever recovered from Sacking Warnock I would rate Warnock in the top 10 British managers considering the jobs he has had and the situations he has occurred 1- Clough 2- Revie 3 - Venables 4- Ferguson 5- Graham 6- Busby 7- Paisley 8- Robson 9- Warnock 10- Shankly
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Warnock equals Modern Day Genius on 19:17 - May 6 with 1964 views | aston_hoop | The best thing about the job at Huddersfield is that he hasn't even done it! Rocks up on a Friday and tells the lads who is playing. Even admitted he changed his starting line up for the Sheff U game based on what one of the local journos said since he knows more than him. He knows how to set up a team at this level to be hard to beat, at least on a short term basis. Loved him for us, was a wonderful time and will always have my respect. But also I hope he retires again because I just cant be arsed with another season in which every defeat will be followed up with 'perhaps we should get Warnock back in'. Even saw someone suggest we get Warnock in to help Ainsworth, as if either of them would want that. Ainsworth is hardly a novice himself.

Anyone who still believes we could have Warnock then they completely deluded because we got rid of him. Have said so many times, that he's not coming here for that reason alone. But yes posted the thread because the man loves a new challenge and is still capable of delivering. Whatever the x factor is, he certainly has it in abundance !!!

Warnock equals Modern Day Genius on 06:51 - May 7 with 1745 views | Lblock | Whilst LF is steering the ship, looking for icebergs, there was zero chance of King Warnock returning. Anyone who doesn’t think Warnock is a QPR Legend or an absolutely top Manager at this level is a deluded fool !!! He transformed the club on arrival - we were 100% drifting towards relegation that season but he galvanised us and we stayed up fairly comfortably What he then did over that summer and the following season was nothing short of miraculous and he gave me my best ever season of following football. Loved it and loved him for it. For Championship all time Managers I’d put him in the top 3 - he must have the most promotions and relegation saves ever?

Warnock equals Modern Day Genius on 08:09 - May 7 with 1686 views | Metallica_Hoop | He's probably the best Divison2/1/Championship manager of all time. I'm still annoyed we never gave him enough time when we went up or the money until it was too late. Matt Busby should be on that list. From just about able to fill a team sheet after Munich to European champions in 10 years that takes some doing. [Post edited 7 May 2023 8:10]

Warnock equals Modern Day Genius on 14:44 - May 7 with 1478 views | lave16 | Warnock's greatest strength at championship level was his greatest weakness at premiership level - he always overachieved to much, got teams promoted and trusted his players to much after promotion or wasn't given enough money in time after promotion. Complete Legend though.
