I have to admit that I travelled to the game in a desultory mood, as the Bard might say, like a child who creeps unwillingly to school?
I was uncomfortable for half an hour, waiting for the inevitable, but went crazy when we scored after a great, flowing move from Dykes to Willock and Chair ...anxious moments worrying whether it had actually crossed the line!?
I enjoyed a lot of our football, some very good performances with of course a sprinkling of mistakes that a better team might have punished. What a relief when Sinclair tapped in, boy was I chuffed!! The journey home went by seamlessly and quickly. I think I was floating on a little cloud.
