Evening all, future son-in-law needs to do a data analysis project for his final module of his computer science degree.
He is going to look at certain trends of success tenure of managers during premier league years and transfer budgets v revenue etc etc.
Does anyone know of any websites that would be reputable that produce good genuine football data rather than the other clickbait nonsense out there please

The Premier League website has data on managers:
https://www.premierleague.com/
If you click on names it will give you a breakdown of the individual record:
https://www.premierleague.com/
Companies House will have accounts for all the individual club accounts:
https://find-and-update.compan
You will probably need to search each club individually. Accounts are published under the filing history tab, so for Arsenal:
https://find-and-update.compan
There are advanced search options but if you use the SIC code for sports clubs you end up with all 18,000 of them

But you can download search data for free from Companies House.
No idea about reliable reporting of transfer fees. So many transfers have contingent payments built into them that it's difficult to know precise details and I don't think clubs break it down into individual deals in the accounts. [Post edited 17 Apr 19:30]
