I am the least critical fan I know and like a lot of us only qualified in opinion making. But 5 games in 15 days and 4-0 up meant the luxury of early subs to rest legs. If ever Michi Frey was worth a risk surely yesterday to rest Kone, same with Burrell couldn’t we have bought Smythy on earlier to replace him.Not my decision but surely Poku and Smyth coming on with only 10 mins left too late.
I do note a 6 day rest til Boxing Day.

I think to be fair your last sentence sums it up. We have 6 days. He used the subs late yesterday to make sure the potential of Leicester snatching a few goals didn't happen. For me bringing on Poku and Smyth shows how far we have come this season, to be able to replace two wingers with two wingers of quality.

I think 4 up at half time against a Leicester team that weren't even dialing it in represented a brilliant opportunity to give Burrell a rest at least. Geezer sprints the whole 90+ minutes every single game
