Today, he showed the promise and the quality we know he has.
I thought his reading of the game was fantastic today. He anticipated well and did the neccessary with the minimum of fuss.
Tbh, that defensive display warranted a clean sheet. But for a terrible decision by the ref and a deflected free kick, we werent really troubled.
Ridiculous in reality that the unthinkable could have happened today with an equaliser for Watford. Thankfully, we won the day, but yes Edwards assuredness today was very evident.
Cant understand why Saints sold him. Yes he was a reasonable fee for them, but the potential is clearly there.

I know not everyone loves xG, but Watford expected goals from open play today was 0.03. Or in other words, they would expect to score approximately 1.5 goals from open play PER SEASON if you extrapolate that out.
