back of king street is usually ok for free parking , if not the multi story there is fine to park and only 5 mins to the appollo from there youll pass a few pubs on the way as well

I know you can park outside Ravenscourt Park tube and in some of the roads round there, little bit of a walk but it's pretty much all residential in Hammersmith and they enforce it hard

(one of the lowest council taxes in London, of course)

The sunken road next to King's mall is ok just pay the machine.

The Hammersmith Ram/Goat nearby is a young's pub and does splendid ale.

thanks chaps, kings mall looks a good-un if i cant park for free on the street. I detest paying for parking especially in the evening after the restrictions

If you're coming from the north, loads of free parking on Hammersmith Grove, less than five mins' walk away. (You can't get on to it from the southern end.)

Hop poles is a decent pub as well bar staff are bloody slow though so give your self plenty of time

There's a small car park right next to Apollo under the A4. Think it might be free after 6.30pm. But then you'd have to walk to pubs and then back again unless you fancy a drink at the venue.

Matchbox twenty, they were excellant and on for over two hours. Parked at the kings mall, was only a fiver and by some good boozers

Went to see them in Sydney. Very very good concert. Don't think they ever really took off in the uk.

I've like them since 99, they have a good following here but nowhere as big as their American fanbase

They've shifted over 130,000 albums in the UK, which isn't too shabby really.

Not quite up there with the 18 million they've shifted in the States though!
