The three of them were v poor yesterday. Smyth gets a pass because he generally does deliver but not convinced by Saito or Poku. They offered nothing at all. |

Because we are a team of tiny midgets…Chair, Poku, Smyth, Saito, Lamptey. Not one of our corners troubled Boro. Most didn’t beat the first man. |

I don’t believe any of us expect any of our players to play every minute of every game but setting us up like that gave the game to Boro. It allowed Morris to run the first half and we were lucky to go in 0-1 at HT….that goal was coming for 10 minutes before they scored. So, start with our strongest side and change players when we are in front or still level later in the game. Stephan got it horribly wrong yesterday. Having said that Boro were arsehole lucky to get the win. You’d bet your house on Rumarn scoring when he was put through on goal and any other day Vale’s shot goes in off the bar. I left the ground gutted we didn’t get something out of the game because we were electric in the second half. Last season we would’ve lost that game 0-4. We go again! COYRs!!! |
