Never says anything positive about us.

In all my years watching football, I don't think I've ever seen such a wonderful Technical finish when Chris Willock received that excellent ball from Charlie and some how " Calmed it" and finished it with his right, ( god knows how).

Never ever seen a player do that, vague memory of Berkcamp doing something years ago?

Wonderful night, great game, ( again!)

Clive will have some fun with this

Excellent journalism Clive, horrifying read for any football fan, (hope Tracey Crouch gets a look at this).

The sad thing, (as you say) it will happen again.

World Cup Playoffs Draw
at 18:01 26 Nov 2021

Wales have had some appalling "Sunderland like" Refereeing decisions go against them in Word Cup? eliminators against Scotland over the years, (Joe Jordan at least once), with the "handball that never was.

(I'm not Scottish or Welsh so am on slightly dodgy ground memory wise).

Two matches in Cardiff, so they have all to play for, (I have seen Austria a couple of times, (don't ask), they are appalling).

We were very, very good, against a very good side.

Long time since I have seen such concentrated quality over, er 95 Minutes, (5 added for Huddersfield keeper shithousery), but fair do's he was amazingly quick with goal kicks after they went 1.0 down.

Yes, I had forgotten how poor we were at Huddersfield last season, have vague memories of our players passing into huge green empty spaces, ( more likely to find deer grazing than a QPR player).

But optimistic got tomorrow night.

Great piece Clive, really needed to be said, its so bloody frustrating watching the Championship Clubs fawning over their annual Sky handout.

Surely someone with a pair could sit the Clubs down and come up with a Live Coverage Strategy?

Th current Premiership Format is not going to exist much longer, and sooner rather than later, the usual suspects will re-invent their new "its not really a European Super League Product" and will once again "break away" but this time do it properly, having learnt from their mistakes.

The Championship Clubs need to think long and hard about re-structuring and horrible as it sounds it might involve a new Competition formed by clubs from remains of the Premiership and The Championship, I also cannot see this happening if SKY are involved.

The future could be a new league with a new Media Sponsor, AMAZON? or a total newcomer.

As Clive says in his excellent piece, the current mess cannot go on much longer, as hard up fans may begin to "pick and choose" their matches next season .

I just wonder how much longer our amazing away support can continue, when faced with impossible options for trains, cost and dates.

Thanks Clive

First half best I have seen Scotland play in years, McGinn was superb, ditto Gilmour.

Wonderful atmosphere at Hampden Park.

Really enjoyed the game, Scotland very good, Gilmour, Tierney and of course McGinn excellent.

Away fans amazing, odd at start, looked like a quarter of away end, which as game progressed seemed to become the whole end, great support, liked the Lyndon song, ( substitute "going up for World Cup" and it lifts across for us nicely.

Jesus, even Ally McCoist said some nice things about Lyndon!

Tough job against Denmark, but I can see at least a point?

He played well, as game time increases his tackling and interceptions are getting sharper and sharper, thank god he is now available for Second half of season, I would play him alongside Chair in the middle, ( with Chair in the Centre obviously ) but that's another story, as Clive days tired just before being subbed which to he expected.

Mark Warburton- Sorry Mark don't agree
at 19:18 23 Oct 2021

Just back from Peterborough, amazing turn out from Rangers fans today, great atmosphere in pubs, very good humoured and friendly reception from the locals.

Ditto atmosphere in ground, players even applauded off the pitch, ( very generous).

Interesting to see the row going on the pitch after between Ball and Barbet, very heated, also five or six QPR players studying lap top on pitch?

Really poor performance this afternoon, it could have been worse but for some fine saves from Dieng, and oddly some great defensive work from Arthur in the first half, ( he spent most of match fire fighting), tactics looked wrong with two up front.

But our main weakness was the performance of Johansen, I accept I am in the minority here but we are playing (what was untill recently),a bottom three side and he is playing inside his own 18 yard box knocking ten yard balls, ( just like at Fulham).

This seems to be history repeating itself when Eze was repeatedly played wide untill he took over the Centre.

Surely enough is enough and it's time for Chair to take over?

Really liked Mark Warburton's post match after Fulham, where his honesty was most commendable, sorry Mark todays post match was b***s**t, incidentally was Willock rested for Sunderland? Or carrying a knock?

Dissapointed Nick London gave him such a soft time, apology to fans would have been nice, ( if you did apologize and signal lost on train then fair dues).

It's been a long time since I've read anything decent about us in the "Sub".

Good comment by Les and Amit, we are now projecting a much more positive image about the Club.
