He needs to reduce welfare, illegal immigration and look at our foreign aid budget.
He needs to drill the North Sea and trouser the tax he’ll get for it.
These moves alone will please the bond market and reduce our borrowing costs.
Then he can whack in some incentives for businesses and grow the private sector.
I’m not against nationalising water. The private sector have basically raped the country.
He won’t do this though as he has too many left-wingers who believe in magic money trees and paying the lazy and workshy to stay at home. |

I’m 56 and have plenty of memories of Keegan. England in the 70s, going to Hamburg and earning the nickname Mighty Mouse, that goal against Scotland at Wembley, playing against Forest in a European Cup final, signing for Saints (and yes I remember where I was when I heard the news on the radio), WC 82 and that header and falling off a bike on Superstars. |
