The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP 07:01 - Apr 4 with 2043588 viewsLblock

Here I am starting this from my recovery bed and no clue how to link tunes on an iPhone!

Will stick on my offerings from a PC later unless the other knuckles thread is the preference to use?

House classics and dancey dazzlers only, no hijacking from suicide rock please!

In the beginning there was jack.......

Been meaning to update for years.
Can only be one.......

Liking that first 1st one largely!!

Must get to see this mob live if in London. I'm a latecomer to their stuff but quite into it at the moment, a bit a MOR but some decent remixes about.
(Also... The lead singer/drummer may need a stunt double so Neil from the North to be put on standby!!!)

Miguel Migs. Another great new house producer. Well, new to me anyway.

There's so much new stuff at the moment I'm starting a playlist for it.

This is the first track.

More Miguel Migs. I'm loving this album (Dim Division) so much that I'm missing the commentary. Again.

Gonna buy my ticket for the 21st May later. Will be just back from 3 weeks in Costa Rica so will defo be bang up for that lol. Maybe as it's two weeks after the season ends we could tempt as many off here as possible to come - even if i's just for Pre Rave drink near Euston / Kings X

Hope you and D had a good one in Preston lads . I heard this at the after party last Saturday a fckin brilliant mix of a fckin brillian tune.................

The Bucketheads. First heard that dropped in The Cross on a big night in, what, 92?

Nightcrawlers - still sounds good after all these years.

(both spacks but I'm not complaining - they were both on my 50th list that I culled from here)

Great sample from the Russ myer film 'beneath the Valley of the ultra vixens' at 2mins 30 secs.

" Small town USA. Average people, ordinary people.. the folks next door. Walk down the street, knock on any door and who will you meet? Your neighbors.

That is what it is all about. Friendly people, getting to know one and other. Pulling together for the mutual good. At work and at play, giving new meaning to the word democracy.
People like Mr Peterville, a man to the name born. His obsession? Garbage. His profession? Sanitary engineer. His avocation? .. F ucking."

I'd totally forgotten about this tune. Can't even remember where I know it from. But it bangs.
