Greetings from Goa Frankie boys. If you go to the right place in Arambol it is possible to obtain what I now consider an almost rolls Royce quality of goodies. Have to say my friend Amanda was particularly forthcoming..... I was st Shiva Valley on Tuesday night and it was 100% the best rave of my life and I’ve gone shiva 10 times before but this time danced 13 hours straight. Was there for 10.45 pm Tuesday night and it finished at 11.45am Wednesday Morning and every fkin record sounded like the best ever. Was a proper night I saw Tristan on the dance floor and Avalon played (according to Miss Brixton they are the pinacle of Psy Trance) Any how they played this at some point tuuuuuuune

Friday rolls in.... been on a proper old school disco soul tip this week. I’ve been listening to a lot of old Froggy / Chris Hill sets as I try to block out the elbows, the glumness and stench of others on the Piccadilly line. Roll on the weekend
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

The best thing for me was that I was able to pluck the name of that tune out when we were all watching TV on our lunch break the other day. I could see the admiring looks from people thinking 'not bad for a 53 year old' Well surely they must have been thinking that! Wouldn't they?

Me too L and Motown. I was reminded of this great track when I heard it in the background of an episode of the Deuce. There is a 12 minute long version around as well.

The breakdown in this reminds me of being fully departed from my pickle at Gatecrasher in I guess 2000. Sounds pretty dated now to be honest, but the breakdown at 3.50 still gets me.

Bit fast for my tastes these days, but I can vividly remember first hearing the pads on that breakdown and it still tickles the old synapses, or what's left of them anyway.

Ive just got round to downloading Rekordbox software . It came free with a mixer i bought a few months back. I cant believe how easy it is to mix on it. Honestly my mixes sound like Sasha..lol. Ok maybe not. But all you do is preset the bpm's, give the platter a little nudge here and there and away you go. Digweed eat your heart out. I just wanted it to play out my newer stuff but you cant beat mixing vinyl. Pops n crackles n all. :)
