What is needed is the ability by the moderator (without too much effort 'cos I know Clive has enough to do) to combine threads on the same subject. Is that possible?

The other alternative is for people thinking about posting the same thing two hours or more after the original thread to read through recent post headings to ensure they aren't duplicating something already covered. Then they could add their thoughts to the original post. Is that possible?
