Why ask me to speculate when I am telling you it is pointless doing so?

You dont need to speculate just answer the question, billy bullshit has told you as fans all this tripe,do any of you bother questioning why not of it ever actually happens?

One day, we will look upon Bury as being the victims in this, and rightly so.

The general consensus will be that there was little that Bury fans could do to prevent their club being used like this. The truth will be that some Bury fans have been fully complicit in this. It will be as much down to them should the worst befall their club.

Would you not question why your chairman has taken a massive loan out with extortionate interest rates against the club, if hes as wealthy as he cracks on why the need for a loan?

Normally people who take out such loans are very desperate people with no where else to turn.

I'd liken this mb to Bletchley Park - home of the WW2 German code breakers. It was said, circa 1943, that if German commanders wanted to find out their orders, it would be quicker going to Bletchley than to Berlin!

Likewise, if you want to find out what the buckets hierarchy are up to, it's quicker to come on here!

Well it seems you have failed to go to Specsavers as you appear to have missed the hundreds of posts over the past months where quite a few of the special ones on here interpret their views as fact.

Are you too scared to pick them up on it?
[Post edited 14 Nov 2014 20:47]

I went years ago. I need glasses to read small print. Rochdale fans on a Rochdale board will interpret in many ways. Many have commented, but most are just comments and opinions. Very few, if any, have quoted this Guardian piece with "This is a fact" included.
This thread is about the that article. It came out on the 12th November, not months ago.
Hundreds of posts? There you go with your counting fetish again.

Wrongdoing? Depends on how you interpret that word. Maybe everything is legal, and that is the point you are trying to make.

What most on here, including a few bury fans, are trying to point out to you, is that this way of doing business is very likely doomed to failure. Remember the HBOS being warned that they were taking to many risks, by one of their directors? He was sacked, a few years later, they were "shaking buckets" at the government, for help.

Here, again, is undeniable evidence of risk taking, and a of a group of people with their heads in the sand, believing it will all work out OK.

They have been posted already. Did you not read them?
Should have gone to Specsavers.
Or have you already been, and all you got were Rose tinted?

Paul Moore, HBOS whistleblower. I've met him several times, very astute man.

My line of work is financial services. A lot of what my workplace does involves financing property transactions such as what Day is presumably using the £1m for.
I cannot fathom why he his having to pay 138%pa (cumulative). The market rate for a bridging facility of that ticket size is way,way lower even factoring in patchy credit history and upper end LTV. All very odd.

I've seen some laughable comments from Bury fans about Day's investments being "guaranteed". The thing is, nothing is guaranteed, aside from the fact that if the loan repayments cease the creditor will eventually take charge of the asset they hold as security. It may work out for Day. But at such a high level of gearing you've got to ask - what if it doesn't? He's risking a very real thing. A proper football club with history. Why are the bury fans not more worried about this? That brings me back to my point a few days ago. In a way, I hope this does go tits up. The FA and FL might wake up and employ some serious Fit & Proper tests and our chums down the A58 might be less likely to fall for bollox for the 4th time.
