I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.
If you like smutty, Inbetweeners humour "Sex Education" on Netflix is pretty entertaining.
Decent scripts and acting, and Gillian Anderson as a sex therapist, what more could you ask for?
I thought it was very good though slightly disappointed with the ending. Very watchable and thought it would appeal to a younger audience but some great music plus Gillian Anderson to draw in the more mature crowd.
Just watched the episode of Upstart Crow (where Shakespeare misses out on a load of awards) but was stunned by the sudden turn of mood at the end. The comedy stops dead and genuine sadness takes over. It ends with a more obscure speech from King John:
"Grief fills the room up of my absent child, Lies in his bed, walks up and down with me, Puts on his pretty looks, repeats his words, Remembers me of all his gracious parts, Stuffs out his vacant garments with his form; Then, have I reason to be fond of grief?"
Ben Elton has a lot of fun at Shakespeare's expense but, damn, that was a nice bit of writing and a great use of a lesser-known bit of the Bard's work. Choked me up several times. Bravo, Ben Elton and cast!

This happened when she was working in Africa and working with genocide / civil war in a particular country. The mum was imvited to prosecute the perpetrators retrospectively. Please forgive the patchy information. It seemed really interesting but I never really picked it up again..
The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan. I watched the second episode about Ethiopia over the weekend. Amazing programme that literally had me crying with laughter. Might have to watch it back to make sure it really was that good.
Been watching a gentle, beguiling drama series on Netflix called Shtisel. It's set in Jerusalem and centres on a family of orthodox Jews. An unlikely sounding basis for compelling drama, but it really is good. And a fascinating insight into this particular segment of humanity.

If you like that then try the Romesh and Rob (Beckett) Vs shows on Sky. They meet famous people like Usain Bolt, Anthony Johsua etc. It's very funny.

Doom Patrol is...weird but interesting.
'American Gods' is back. I will binge that.
I liked 'After Life' I realy did. It takes you down avenues you might not want to go down in the name of comedy but I respect that. Depression is no laughing matter.
Watching the Madeline McCann documentary on Netflix , very fascinating
