Yeah, i was there Mel, surprised i didn't see you!
Probably one of the best gig's i've ever been to - three hours, all of the good stuff, none of the self indulgent bollox. a D'arcy away from perfection...
Edit: Thought that Space Oddity and Stairway to heaven was unnecessary nonsense, mind...

I think it's the sixth time I've seen them in various guises, but easily the most enjoyable. The Bowie and Zep covers were good, the Zero/Everlasting Gaze/Stand Inside Your Love segment was superb but I thought the highlight was Mayonaise and I didn't even try the catering.
Despite all my rage...…………..

If I want to be picky I would have dropped the cover of Landslide, sung by the girl from the support band I assume and the encore of a new song and a shiit one would have been better finishing with Geek USA.

I was working on TOTP's years ago and asked the Saffa security who was on?
' da da da Zwan..' (not quite what he said) 'Who the ferk are Zwan' I asked 'Remember the Smashing Pumpkins? That guy' 'Oh yeah' I said 'they were pretty good'
Turned around and Billy Corrigan was standing right behind me with a big grin on his face.
Wouldn't mind seeing them myself.

If I was being picky Pete, I would suggest it was Billy Corgan

I liked their second album a lot. After that they kind of went a bit too pretentious for me, or at least Billy did. That said, Bodies is their best song. Absolute banger that one.
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH MARTI THE REDEEMER WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
