I think that they were mainly Scousers years ago when he had plenty of contacts in schools football in Liverpool.
He used to recruit loads of lads out of the Liverpool Academy as well. Raff being a good example. |

Best post on this board for a long time. It's succinct and well considered analysis is a breathe of fresh air when compared to some of the mindless ranting there has been on here of late. When someone can look failure straight in the eye and declare it as no worse than those who performed better, when someone can dredge up successes from a century or more ago as proof of a more extensive history than others, you can only stand back in admiration. | | | |
