Christmas card for the linesman. A lot wouldn't have bothered to spot the moving ball at the corner.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Well not 'most' referees, but yes I do take your point(s).

It's just when it's getting brought up every week, against one guy, who is a QPR fan doing his best, and could well read the message boards and see it all, it does make me feel a bit uncomfortable.

I accept your 'most' referees point but 'every week' is also equally harsh!

Just for the record there were about 5 mins the other week on a 90' re run with no commentary and of course it was more enjoyable with the commentary.

But I do think once you do a job for money, even the pittance I get for refereeing criticism comes with the job to an extent?

I think Nick London is superb and has a great radio voice. Love listening to him and Sints

Wish Eze would shoot more, he'd made space perfectly for himself and had a clear sight at goal, hey ho

I agree. I much prefer his commentaries to the blandathon that you get from the Sky commentators.

Bit of passion and enthusiasm, and yes, bias towards QPR, is fine by me.

I agree with that - the 10' FL highlights are just bland commentary wise.

Its just that sometimes he just gets a bit......silly.

At Forest for the incident where Bright got booked he said it should have been a pen to us!

Now even the most ardent fan on here hasn't claimed that one - bit of healthy cheerleading is fine but saying something like that is just daft.

However Clive's very useful 'tip' that they don't have monitors at away games - who knows why not? - DOES make the job a lot harder and explains some of the comments - especially re the disallowed goal as discussed above.
