If I've got this right BOS is one booking away from a 3 match ban and next week is the last match before it goes from 10 to 15. So should we rest him next week to ensure we have him uninterrupted after that?

Rest him, it’s not like we have nobody to step in and take his place.
It would be typical us to play him, lose and then get him banned for games we have a better chance of winning . |
Or we play him and he gets two assists in the first win at Deepdale in 40 years and completes our first double over them in 52 years.

Yes, he trusted the player to walk away from provocation and not react to being fouled. I was for resting him.
It worked, it could have gone wrong even if not the player's fault.

For EFL league matches:
5 yellows in the first 19 matches = 1 match suspension.
10 yellows in the first 37 matches = 2 match suspension
15 yellows in the whole season = 3 match suspension
We've played 37 matches so the threshold does indeed rise to 15 from this point on. BOS just needs to avoid 6 yellows in the remaining 9 matches to ensure that he's available for the play-offs.  | | | |
