One might say this is no surprise, but we can see the predictions reveal (which have known to be wrong quite often) that AirAsia subdivisions will go bust over the coming months.

Thus one would assume that Ruben/Mittal would hopefully step in and take over. Lucky Ruben owns 51% which means Tony's misfortune I would hope won't bankupt us ... again!

All the indications are that the Mittals aren't interested, that's why they've allowed their holding to be continually diluted by other shareholders converting debt to equity.

I don't think that was down to a lack of interest, it was due to the fact that they weren't willing to fund Fernandes' continuous f**k ups. If they can agree a deal to buy the club that suits them I'm sure they would but as they've shown in the past they're not willing to pay silly sums of money for the club.

I'm sure the current situation and slow down in business will hit everyone including Mittal (no construction = no demand for steel) and Ruben (no trade = no use of ports).

They probably aren't but their pockets are way deeper than Tonys. His wealth is based upon AirAsia assets which are fast depreciating.

Whereas theirs are mostly based on different assets and they also have way more liquidity than Tony and finally their assets still have a liquid market. Whereas no one is buying airlines for a long while yet.
