How good as he been in the last 6 weeks or so

A massive improvement and love to see him bombing forward

Maybe he was carrying an injury earlier in the season as he seems to have got a bit more pace

It's an easier game when your team is playing well with confidence, players do things differently, more energy, they want the ball, they don't pass it at the first opportunity. When the team is not playing well the ball is like a hot potato, you get it, then get rid of it straight away, less energy. Wallace is a good player, always has been, he's been used to playing in good sides..

He looked absolutely finished earlier in the season but since coming back from injury he's been very good looks a lot more like the player we thought we were getting.

Probably the fact that Glasgow Rangers have been winning the title for the last two Months cheered him up no end and put a Zebedee type springy thing in his step.

Or probably not.

Maybe.

He's a mixed up kid Ted. Hibs fan as a boy, played for Hearts and Rangers. Finally found himself on the right side of the tracks again!

Fully fit he's looked a much better player. My only criticism of him is that although he is actually pretty good with the ball on the ground his ability to stop aerial attacks isn't. That said neither was Manning's but Wallace is much improved.

Never knowingly right.

Against Bristol City Willock gave Wallace something to work with, in the first half by passing the ball between two BC players on the left for Wallace to run on to, and in the second half by passing back to him with a bit of space on the left, which Wallace then crossed to Chair.

Chair often passes to Wallace when there is nothing much on and players are marking him.

He was a good attacking fullback at Glasgow Rangers and was one of the few big names who stayed when they got liquidated in (Edit) 2012 and had to start off in tier 4.
I think this seriously stunted his development playing 4 seasons against part timers and the like, he wasn't the same player.
After promotion to the SPL, with Warby, things weren't easy, Barton was in the changing room bragging about how great he was while being bossed by everyone (hilarious from such a 2nd rate league) and undermining MW. Rangers were a mess at this point and something happened with Wallace and Kenny Miller where they got bombed out of the first team squad by next manager Pedro Caixhinho, he didn't play for quite a while.
All in all in the last (edit)8 years this period is his most stable and demanding, it's possibly why he's had niggly injuries, it probably shouldn't be surprising that he's maybe taken time to find his form?
I have always thought he's more of an attacking player than defensively, his early season performances in a back 4 certainly back that up.
Hopefully can keep his improvements going, good to see

From the salary sheet I saw the other day Cameron was our highest earner at £13,000 a week (before Charlie came on loan and I don't know what he is on) .

Wallace is on £10,000 a week.

If you were Rob Dickie earning £8,700 a week you wouldn't be happy!

There's no such thing as a salary sheet and if Wallace is on 10k a week we might as well all give up.

He may be doubly happy as the mighty Hearts are ripping up Division 1 with a keeper nearly my age

Or as Ted say's maybe not.

I recall from the game at Wycombe they had a quickish player who got himself into a lot of space down our left and got a lot of balls into their big fellas. Can't remember his name but we will need to limit that, and Wallace, Barbet, the DCM may have tough games on this evening if he's still with them.

Would it be Onyedinma?

He's a fast winger, but I can't remember of he's left or right.

From SofaScore match positioning it looks like he plays on the left, Brian. The other winger is McLeary and he's 33 so maybe not so lightening fast.

If I knew how to post photos on here I’d share it. So there is.
Niko Hamalainen so shown as earning £4,900 a week for example.

Some other surprises are things like Tom Carrol accepting £4,600 a week. Clearly he wanted a club and wanted to play. Good for him.

But when you see the salaries we now pay you realise why we don’t succeed in the transfer market.

If someone wants to explain how to post two pics on a forum thread I’ll share what I got given on a new thread.
