Depends what the profit is.
If they bid 4/5 million on current form you’d probably turn it down. As it goes north of that then it has to be considered.

I’d forgotten about the Euro’s. If he has a good one his price should go up. I wouldn’t be surprised if Celtic make a bid as they seem to be in the market for a Dykes type player.
In the end it all come down to money and if we make a good return after a year it can be seen as a success, even if ultimately it means that we are back to trying to find a forward at a good price | | | |

Dykes will have had to have done well for longer than a few weeks to attract serious interest.

I am thinking the same, never get to attached these days to a player. If we make a decent profit on Lyndon and it is re-invested in Johansen and Austin, then would see it as a result. Johansen would be a peach of a signing, we have not had a player of his quality in midfield for years. |  | | |

I can't see any offer being made that would entice us to sell.
It is unlikely anyone would offer north of 3-4 million for him based on half a dozen good games, and there's no way we would sell for that given the potential that is now becoming apparent.
If he was to continue his current form and improvement to the end of next season he'd be worth 10 to 15 million by the end of it, such is the dearth of striking talent.
If we are indeed looking to challenge for the play offs we need to keep him. | | | |
